The Story of my Laptop

This is the story when I got my laptop.

Me: Yay! my 11th birthday (remember, I’m older now, so this was a long time ago) my              dad is going to buy a laptop for me!

Dad: Come on Dan, let’s buy you a laptop at a computer shop.

Dad: Ok Dan, we arrived at this place and I found the perfect PC for you.

Computer MacBook Pro    Price: $1300

Me: Wow, that computer must the best but…

Dad: “looked around and said” Look at that one Dan!

Computer Lenovo Ideapad  710s   Price: $500download

Me: Let’s buy it dad!

The dimensions are 21 x 30 x 21 cm. Operating system Windows 10 intel core i5 7th Genimages

I’m using the Lenovo Ideapad 710s for blogging and I used it until now, but I’m not happy with it.

Two months later.

Me: Dad, I hate this computer.

Reasons:

1. Too many useless apps, makes ram full.

2. Adds everywhere (a lot of times).

3. Crashes randomly (rare).

4. Too many video games in the start-up menu (I didn’t buy this for video games).

5. When start-up, the computer uses half of its memory, even I’m not using any                       apps.

Dad: I see, we have to fix this!

Two days later

Dad: I have a plan we need to think out of the box.

Dad: “snaps his fingers and types on his computer”

Dad: What about this?

Me: Let’s try it.

So dad and I follow the instructions.

But… we’re stuck on step 4.4. My PC is not opening the USB. So if you can do that you’re so good in computer technology.

Please follow the instructions carefully, if you miss a step you have to do the process again, and this would take about 3 days so prepare yourself and enjoy 😀

  1. This is my own laptop. I can do whatever I want with it. I can play video games (I don’t do), watch youtube, and blog on my beautiful site.
Lesson for today: DON’T BUY WINDOWS, it’s horrible.

I don’t know much about computers, but I’d also be annoyed if bombarded by ads and the memory was full of useless Apps!
I found this with my new smartphone – that half the 8GB memory was instantly full with stuff you cannot remove. Fortunately I could add an SD card for external memory.
I tend to save all important stuff from my laptop to an external hard drive, regularly.
I think most people hate Windows! Also, I think a lot of computer people use Linux.
    Good Luck!

  3. Aren’t computers frustrating? I bought a Dell laptop a few months back and had to send it back to the company because of a problem…..new computer…ugh! Although they were very helpful and had it back to me within 10 days the inconvenience was annoying!

    • Hahaha! Yeah, these computers are very… very bad. Right now I have a Lenovo laptop. And I use it to create my blog. I had this laptop for 2 months and very annoying like you said (it crashes a lot as said on that post). I think Apple is the best, but it’s very expensive though.
